John found this spider hanging out on the arborvitae. I did some searches on it and found a match at SpiderzRule.com. They say it's a brown widow spider, which unfortunately means that it's going to have to die. The spider is probably not more than about 2cm long, including the legs, and has a yellow triangle underneath.
