Numeric Bases

We've all learned to do calculations in base 10, but in early cultures where the concept of math was just beginning to form, some peoples used other bases, such as base 5, base 8, and even base 20. Computers use base 2. These are all just different ways of representing quantities or ordering, and no one way is intrinsically right.
